If one orders a high speed cable internet service through, say, Charter Communications, can you then split the

incoming signal to a TV and receive basic cable or whatever?|||That depends on the cable company. In the case of Comcast if you have Internet, you can also pick up basic analog cable.





-tcw|||You also have to order the cable service.|||Most likely not, because everything that goes into your house is controlled in the utility box outside your home. For example, they can block other channels that you're not subscribed to(if you're only paying for basic), so they can also send you signals to connect to the internet, but block the video signals to watch cable programming. Anyways, will they allow you to get internet cable without subscribing to basic programming?
